Your Path to Treatment in 4 Simple Steps
Our streamlined admissions process is designed to remove barriers and get you into care as quickly as possible. Most patients are seen within the same week of their first call.
Call Us
Contact our admissions team by phone at (561) 464-4077 or fill out our confidential online form. Our team is available Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. We will answer your questions and begin gathering basic information to prepare for your assessment.
Clinical Assessment
A licensed clinician will conduct a brief pre-screening assessment to understand your needs, symptoms, and history. This can be completed over the phone or through a secure telehealth session. Based on this assessment, we will recommend the most appropriate level of care and match you with the right provider.
Insurance Verification
Our dedicated insurance team will verify your benefits and explain your coverage in plain language, so there are no surprises. We accept most major insurance plans, including Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, United Healthcare, and more. We also offer self-pay and financing options.
Begin Treatment
Attend your first appointment with your assigned psychiatrist or therapist. During this comprehensive initial visit, your clinician will conduct a thorough evaluation and work with you to develop a personalized treatment plan. You will leave with a clear understanding of your diagnosis and the path forward.
What to Expect at Your First Appointment
We understand that your first psychiatric appointment can feel daunting. Here is what you can expect so there are no surprises:
-
Arrive 15 minutes early
This gives you time to complete any remaining paperwork and settle in comfortably before your appointment.
-
Comprehensive psychiatric evaluation
Your psychiatrist will spend 60 to 90 minutes understanding your symptoms, medical history, family history, and treatment goals.
-
Personalized treatment plan discussion
Your clinician will explain their diagnostic impressions, recommend treatment options, and answer all of your questions before proceeding.
-
What to bring
Photo ID, insurance card, list of current medications, and any prior psychiatric records or medical records you have available.

Learn About TelepsychiatryFrequently Asked Questions About Admissions
How quickly can I get an appointment?
Most new patients are seen within the same week of their initial call. In urgent situations, we can often accommodate same-day or next-day appointments. Our goal is to eliminate wait times that stand between you and the care you need.
Do I need a referral from my primary care doctor?
In most cases, no. You can self-refer to RECO Integrated Psychiatry. However, some insurance plans (particularly HMO plans) may require a referral for psychiatric services. Our insurance team will verify this for you during the admissions process.
What if I do not have insurance?
We offer competitive self-pay rates and flexible payment plans. We believe that finances should never be a barrier to quality mental health care. Contact our team to discuss pricing and payment options that work for your situation.
Is the admissions process confidential?
Absolutely. Every interaction with our team is protected by HIPAA regulations and our strict confidentiality policies. Your information will never be shared without your explicit written consent.
Can I schedule an appointment for a family member?
Yes. Family members and loved ones are welcome to call on behalf of someone who needs care. Our admissions team can guide you through the process and answer questions about how to best support your loved one in seeking treatment.
What happens if I need a higher level of care?
As part of the RECO Health Network, we have seamless pathways to higher levels of care including intensive outpatient programs (IOP) and partial hospitalization programs (PHP). If your clinician determines that you need more intensive support, we will coordinate a smooth transition within our network.
